About Us
ABOUT US: JACK AND SOPH
We are Jack and Soph, the proud new owner/operators of Dandaleith Boarding Kennels and Cattery! We are excited to get to know all of our two and four legged customers both new and old. Our primary focus is to continue the exceptional standard of care that founders Cherryl and Philip maintained over the best of four decades. We plan to carry on the name of Dandaleith for many decades to come. We are eager to bring a new energy and sense of vitality to Dandaleith. Our first concern is always the wishes of our customers so please do not hesitate to reach out with any queries/concerns/suggestions. Staying with us is the wonderful Nicole with her wealth of experience and fantastic attention to detail. We are also retaining the services of Chief Supervisor and Guard Cat ‘Dot’.
Our Family
We are a young, energetic couple who are taking this leap to build a life for ourselves that we love. We love pets, we love people and we love our family. We can’t think of a better combination to help us take Dandaleith onwards and upwards. Joining us is of course Bruzzy and Dot. Our beautiful Bruzzy is one of a kind. He is the face of our new logo because he represents the love and commitment that all pet owners feel towards their four-legged companions. Our care and concern for him is what inspires our standard of care for your pets. They truly are our number one priority. Dot is our new addition and has transformed us into a family of four. Dot is our resident black cat with duties at the office including admin and snuggle supervision.
Our History
Dandaleith Boarding Kennels and Cattery has been operational since 1987. Previous owners and founders Cherryl and Philip took great pleasure in being able to be your pets carers for nearly four decades. The property of Dandaleith was their pride and joy, where they raised children, entertained grandchildren, and basked in the companionship of their pets and each other. With the property going up for sale in 2024 and settlement occurring after two long years on the 27th of February 2026 we can safely say that Cherryl and Philip will now be able to enjoy a well deserved rest! They are always welcome back here so make sure to say hello if you see them around.
